Watch Steve-O Get Choked Unconscious by a Former UFC Champ

At 48 years old, Steve-O is showing no signs of cutting back on performing the crazy stunts that made him famous. Over the weekend, the Jackass star willingly got choked unconscious by retired UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping in the ring following UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

The stunt was a sort of race to see whether Bisping or current UFC middleweight contender Marvin Vettori could choke a person unconscious first. When asked why he was willingly subjecting himself to getting choked unconscious, Steve-O very pragmatically responded, "Because I'm an attention whore." Fair enough!

Before getting down to it, Bisping made sure to check that they were in agreement that there would be no lawsuits. And then, they commenced with the choking.

Getting him in a rear naked choke, Bisping made quick work of it, putting Steve-O to sleep in about 11 seconds after he refused to tap out. Fortunately, his nap was brief, and he awoke after only a few seconds, exclaiming, "Oh, shit!" when he realized he had gone out.

Bisping said afterward that even he was a little bit nervous while performing the stunt.

"You worried me, because I wasn't sure, then I was like ... I got the guy with the frail neck," the 44-year-old joked. "Because I heard a little [cracking sound] and I was like, 'What if I've broken his neck and he's died?' All these disclaimers on camera don't mean shit when I'm getting locked up."

Well, you know what they say: play stupid games, win stupid prizes. But at least for now, it seems unlikely that this will be the last time Steve-O gets puts himself at risk of life or limb for our entertainment.
